It can be seen below (after viewing the previous picture) that the Internet Explorer icon has been removed from the desktop.

It should be apparent that it is advantageous, from a security standpoint, to be able to selectively hide many of the program shortcuts and folders . The Open command buttons above are provided to open one of the folders or to execute one of the programs in either listbox, though this is most useful for accessing the hidden directories and shortcuts.
